Volunteers are truly the “heart” of our organization!
When you think about what makes a space feel like home, you might think about its physical aspects. But if you think about what brings a home to life, its people. That is what our volunteers do in their roles at Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Prince Albert. While every role is unique, each is vital in creating a welcoming, home-like environment for families of sick children.
We provide a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to support families in meaningful ways, a culture that supports and celebrates volunteerism, and an opportunity to connect with others in your community.

Individual volunteers must provide a Police Record Check and two personal references
We strongly encourage individual volunteers to commit to a regularly scheduled shift of 2 to 4 hours
Individual volunteers must be 19 years of age or older to hold a regular volunteer shift
We strongly encourage individual volunteers to consider volunteering for a minimum of 8 months
Group Eligibility
Group volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years of age and to be supervised by an adult volunteer from the group
We recommend group sized of approximately 6 individuals to allow for the best group experience
